This July 4th, celebrate your freedom to kick ass in video games by checking out the newest indie game release on Android and iOS. CrazyRock Creative, a team of game-developing twin brothers hailing from Florida, have teamed up to bring you Omega Hero.
If you’re a fan of side-scrolling action fighting games, Omega Hero is well worth the $.99 cent asking price. I had a chance to check out the game, and I can vouch for the worthiness of this new indie release.
As if side-scrolling, butt-kicking isn’t fun enough, our protagonist, Omega Hero, has his secret weapon, the Omegaton Punch, to help you bring down an entire crowd of bad guys. The cutscene for the Omegaton Punch is fantastic, and I found myself looking forward to building up my meter high enough to activate it.
According to a press release from CrazyRock Creative, Omega Hero’s mission is to “cleanse the streets of the rotten Dust Bunny henchmen under the employment of the evil Mr. Boss.”
The game’s goal is to be “simple, fun and easy to play,” and I agree wholeheartedly that the guys at CrazyRock reached this goal. The game is appropriate for all ages, and Omega Hero is a great way to introduce younger generations to the iconic side-scrolling brawler genre.
The game features a storyline mode, as well as free play, so the game has unlimited replay value. It also features:
Simply look up the game on the Android Market or iTunes Store and throw a buck at CrazyRock as a thank you for an awesome game that successfully fulfills and exceeds what we expect out of a side-scrolling brawler. Not only will you be supporting independent geeks just like you, but you’ll also get hours of gameplay in return.
