This cute and adorable comic diary from Sarah Becan is one introduced to me by a friend, Neally from Dumb as a Mug. After a quick look through her “About” page and her most recent drawings, Sarah and her comics have already endeared to me.

Although she writes about lots of other things in her other comics, Sauceome is a Sarah’s personal project to express and evaluate her thoughts and emotions about her personal image. This results in poignant illustrations that I feel like almost any person can relate to.

Sarah is also behind the Shortpants Press online comic store that features a huge variety of comics. The store sells printed comics, digital downloads, prints and more. Each comic is beautifully illustrated and has an intelligent and quirky inspiration behind it.

Ouija Interviews #1: Theo by Sarah Becan Is a minicomic based on actual Ouija board interviews. Despite the creep factor, Sarah promises the comics are funny in their own macabre way. (Click the pic to go to the Shortpants Press store)
