This blog is just a little spot on the internet dedicated to geeky stuff made by geeky people. I love independent media, and I like to spread the word about the good stuff I find on a regular basis. Right now, the main site consists of blog posts and a collection of notable projects from webcomics to podcasts, and the “feed” side of the site will feature indie geek news and updates.

Megan

I’m Megan. I’m a promotional enthusiast, lazy blogger, and I’m completely obsessed with finding new forms of entertainment. I love nostalgia, pretty things, music, laughing until my stomach hurts, and the internet. I have a long history in writing and promotion, so making this blog was just a natural extension of the things I love.

When I’m not working on the site, I’m usually playing video games (sometimes on twitch.tv/indielove or twitch.tv/imnotmegan), listening to my favorite podcasts, doing a combo of any of the previous things + vodka, or working my “real” job as a part-time web content writer and editor.

I love getting to know new people and finding new indie projects, so feel free to email me and let me know what you’re up to!

I’m a fake writer, a real slacker and an aspiring professional nerd. I like cats more than I like most people. I’m a huge gamer, in that I am both rotund and a connoisseur of the medium. I have a perfectly healthy obsession with all things involving Nicolas Cage. I eat food (too much), I bathe (just enough) and I would love to work as a writer in film, television, video games or some combination thereof. I’m a moderate liberal who is pro the good stuff, anti the bad stuff and really into cool stuff. Feel free to hire me for any of the above jobs based solely on my ability to vocally impersonate Harvey Fierstein.
